WP5 Deliverables

5.1: Website and Newsletter

The website will be the portal for partners and stakeholders to access but also upload information. The website will offer:
- General information about the Network, its activities, objectives and members
- General information about ICT for sustainable energy
- Agenda of events and meetings
- Reports from the Network
- Links to relevant websites (other projects, Info Society pages…)
- A mailing list for keeping the interested parties up to date
-Newsletters

But also interactive features:
- A form to join the network
- Online forum for exchange of ideas
- Possibility to post a best practice, experience, case study, challenge…that will then be organised in a database

The objective is to raise the general public awareness of this issue, but also to gain involvement from the many stakeholders that are not yet part of the Network. Also, the website will be a one stop shop for anyone looking for information on ICT and Sustainable Energy.

5.2: Stakeholders database

As the network progresses, it will seek more and more participants to join to some activities, but also will identify entities having an interest in the project. All these contacts will be collected and added to a database that will be transmitted to the European Commission to use as a pool of contacts for future projects linked to the subject developed in this thematic network.

5.3: Participation in European events

The network will take the opportunity of existing events to present its work and activities to the public. Three yearly events are now targeted: the Green week, the Sustainable energy week, and the European Week of Regions and Cities. This set of events could be increased.

In parallel, the Network will participate in Conferences and Summits, organised by the European Commission, and in particular in the frame of the SET Plan. Foreseen events on the agenda are the European Energy Technologies Summit, and the High Level Conference for Energy Efficiency, both scheduled in the first half of 2009.
